CROSSFIT CLASSES (WODs)

CrossFit workouts are group sessions with constant coaching and encouragement. We focus on functional movements that involve multi-joint, multi-muscle exercises. The Workout of the Day (WOD) is constantly varied and changes everyday to cover all aspect of fitness – CV endurance, strength, flexibility, stamina, power, speed, co-ordination, agility, balance and accuracy making CrossFit the only complete workout system which will prepare you for anything.

Anyone can do CrossFit as all the exercise are scalable, so there is always an option for everyone. In addition, at CrossFit Leicester we have benchmark workouts and  encourage our members to record their results so that over time they can see the vast improvements in their fitness.

EACH CROSSFIT CLASS GENERALLY CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • WARM UP
  • SKILL/STRENGTH WORK
  • A TALK THROUGH THE WORKOUT OF THE DAY
  • WORKOUT OF THE DAY

WARM DOWN

Every workout is scaleable to your individual ability and skill level. After the WOD (class) everyone is free to hang around, encourage each other and share experiences as part of a family, the CrossFit Leicester Family.
