Cancellation of membership
Membership is for a minimum of 3 calendar months. You are free to cancel after this time. CrossFit Leicester Ltd does not operate longer contract periods, but reserve the right to do so in the future, in which case members will be given a choice and the existing 3-month minimum membership period will still operate. If you purchase a membership, CrossFit Leicester operates a 14-day cooling-off period, during which time you may cancel your membership provided no sessions have been used and/or no bookings made.
All cancellation of membership requests need to be received in writing to info@leicestercrossfit.co.uk – any other method of communication will not be accepted. The best way to do this is by emailing your request to info@leicestercrossfit.co.uk . A calendar month’s notice is required to cancel memberships.
If you need to cancel your membership within your commitment period, you may cancel your membership for the following reasons only:
- Serious illness*
- Serious injury*
- Pregnancy*
- Redundancy*
- If you move to a location within 15 miles*
- If your office relocates more than 15 miles
*You may need to provide proof.
Freezing Membership
You may temporarily freeze your gym membership for up to 3 months, however not within the first 3 months of joining, for the following reasons only*:
- Serious illness*
- Serious injury*
- Pregnancy*
- Redundancy*
- If your office relocates more than 15 miles from CrossFit Leicester
*You may need to provide proof.
To freeze your membership, do this is by emailing your request to info@leicestercrossfit.co.uk.
If a Direct Debit instruction is returned to CrossFit Leicester Ltd as unpaid as a result of membership cancellation without prior notice of intent, it will result in a charge being incurred by CrossFit Leicester Ltd that will ultimately be passed on to the member at £50 and may involve a third-party debt management company if necessary.
Cancellation of On-Ramp Course
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full charge of the On-Ramp course. The session may be re-booked but a full, new payment will be required at the time of booking.
